A little bit about me...

An acute appreciation of good design, style and the arts has been bubbling up inside me since I was a child. I can still vividly recall an incident during a pre-school photo shoot when the photographer grabbed a crayon and scribbled on a piece of paper instructing me to pose as the artist responsible. ‘But I didn’t do that picture!’ I said looking with disgust at the photographer’s scribble. Apparently unaware of the offense he had caused, the photographer simply patted me on the head and told me to say Cheese! The thought that my mum and dad might see my photograph and somehow associate me with a pathetic scribble was very distressing! I was mortified! So you see even as a 5 year old I took great pride in my artwork, calculating each brush stroke with the utmost care and attention. This passion for colour and texture was nurtured throughout my schooling and went on to become the inspiration behind my university studies and subsequent professional endeavors.
